How much does a heat pump cost installed?
Our ducted cold-climate heat pumps are installed from $5,795 for a 1.5 ton unit, up to $9,195 for the largest sizes, including standard installation. Ductless mini-splits are quoted to your home. Panel upgrades, longer line sets or ductwork changes are quoted before we start.
Will a heat pump keep my home warm in an Ontario winter?
Cold-climate heat pumps keep heating well below freezing. Most homes keep their gas furnace as backup: the heat pump does most of the heating, and the furnace takes over on the coldest days automatically.
Ducted or ductless: which do I need?
If you have a forced-air furnace with ductwork, a ducted heat pump is usually the best fit and replaces your central AC. Ductless mini-splits suit homes without ducts, additions, basements and garages.
Are there rebates for heat pumps?
